what is the wfh:community all about?
If you’re a freelancer, own a small business or spend most of your time wfh then you’re probably familiar with the freedom, flexibility and creativity that gives you.
However, let’s be honest, it can also feel a little isolating,
& sometimes we’d like another professional buddy to talk through an idea, celebrate a project and work through our challenges with.
We can’t be the expert in every area of our business and we’re human, so naturally we crave connection (meaningful, supportive connection).
And we have social events too so it’s not all work!
The wfh:community is designed to offer a space that balances business development with personal development & fosters the spirit of collaboration over competition!
The organic offshoot of this community is a network of amazing business relationships.
And whilst these relationships matter, they aren’t the fundamental reason we gather.
There are lots of those ...

what does the wfh:community provide?
The wfh:community has been a free community since June 2022, starting with a coffee and a handful of local business owners sitting in my back garden!
For the community to grow with intention, be a place of value & learning for you & your business it requires a new business model.
It will always be a community first & foremost. The membership is thoughtfully designed to allow the community to grow and hold on to it’s ethos of ‘purpose before profit’.
Each month you will have access to:
Aligned Intentions
Monthly, online intention & goal setting workshop. A 60 min session designed to align your work commitments with your wellbeing.
A structured, virtual session which encourages focused thinking to bring clarity to what’s most important in the coming month.
A relaxed opportunity to share ideas with the group, foster accountability and feel supported & connected as you start each new month.
Aligned Intentions dates:
04th Feb / 04th March / 01st April / 06th May / 03rd June / 01st July / 20th Aug / 09th September / 07th October / 04th November / 02nd December.
Wednesday Club
Monthly in-person meet up for connection, collaboration & learning. This is a semi-structured event which:
starts with coffee & croissants etc. & an informal ‘update round’ sharing news, celebrations, upcoming events and catching up. (no pitches, referrals or awkward intros) …
and then offers a ‘collective wisdom’ session to focus on group member challenges & ideas, exploring options, sharing knowledge - this is where we focus & make decisions which honour our wellbeing & business growth, tapping into the group expertise!
Wed Club! dates:
12th Feb / 19th March / 16th April / 14th May / 11th June / 16th July / 27th August / 17th September / 15th October / 12th Nov / 10th December.
Sharing Expertise:
A quarterly ‘Weds Club’ set up but with guest expert on a particular topic, starting with the usual coffee & croissants etc follows by:
A topic specific session hosted by a member of the group from their specialist perspective with Q&A to support members knowledge & learning.
It’s also a great chance to share more about what you do!
The morning is designed to include the regular catch up, sharing updates & connection!
Creative & Social Events
Quarterly non-work focused evening meet ups.
Social get together with group members, being creative, relaxing and fostering the community spirit!

A way to stay connected between sessions, share events, ideas and ask questions . . .
Designed to be a way to keep in touch, and not become another obligation!
